About Hồ Tràm
Hồ Tràm is located alongside the coastal road of Ba Ria – Vung Tau which is only 120 km far away from Ho Chi Minh City. It is the home of 11,000 hectare rainforest designated as nature reserve and has been well-known by the clear sea water and the widely stretched unexploited silver sandy beaches.
As most of the other areas in the South of Vietnam, Hồ Tràm is affected by the monsoon climate with 2 distinct main seasons: tropical season (May-October) and dry season (November – April). The average temperature is approximately at 28 Celsius Degree but thanks to the sea breeze to make the weather here cool year-round, which is ideally for travelling to at any time
Exploring Hồ Tràm
Bình Châu Hot Spring: Approximately 25km far away from Hồ Tràm, the hot spring, which consists of many lakes and ponds joining through an underground pool of mineral water coming from a network of 70 main sources, provides the mud bath services and curative hot mineral springs said to improve blood circulation and mental disorders.
Vung Tau city: Vũng Tàu is an important tourist city with 20 minute drive from Hồ Tràm, being particularly well known for its beaches, for its colonial-era architecture, and the Christ of Vũng Tàu which was completed in 1974, with the height of 32 metres and two outstretched arms spanning 18.4 meter.
How to get there
Only 2 hour leisurely drive from Ho Chi Minh City on the superhighway, tourists can reach easily Hồ Tràm Beach. The resort – Hồ Tràm Beach Boutique Resort & Spa provides both shuttle service (pick up point: Van Thanh Park – Binh Thanh District) and private transfer. Otherwise, guests can choose the service provided by the local car service companies (Toan Thang, Hoa Mai).
